How to Enable JavaScript

You are seeing a message in our site saying 'Please enable javascript to get the most out of our service'. This really isn't hard to do.

What is JavaScript

Just a note for those not familiar with the term 'JavaScript': This is a popular and widely supported scripting language used on websites...It is important to know that this and Java and are not the same, they are 2 completely different and independent programming languages. The setting(s) for one does not affect the other. Therefore only apply any changes to enable Javascript (not Java).

Change Browser Settings

It's easy - just follow the instructions below for your computer (PC or Mac) and your browser...these are the browsers that we currently support

Note: If the Tools menu is not visible at the top of the browser then F10 will bring this up. To set it to permanently show then go to View > Menu > and tick Menu Bar. If you are in full-screen mode F11 will change this.

Internet Explorer (PC Users Only)
Tools - The Three Line Icon at the top right of the browser > Internet Options > Security > Select Internet Zone > If you don't want to customize your settings just select Default level > OR >
Click on Custom Level > Scroll right down to near the bottom of the list > Under 'Active Scripting' select 'Enable' > Apply > OK (to close Security Settings box) > Restart Internet Explorer.
Firefox

Note by default Firefox enables the use of JavaScript...but if these settings were changed and you want to re-enable javasript see below how to do this...but we only recommend doing this if you are used to making these kind of changes...

In the address bar type about:config > Click "I'll be careful I promise" > In the page search box type javascript:enabled, or scroll down to find it > Right-click or double click the preference to change the value from false to true > reload your page.
Chrome

Note by default Chrome enables the use of JavaScript...but if these settings were changed and here's how to reset them to allow JavaScript again.

Click Menu Icon - The Three Line Icon at the top right of the browser > Settings > Show Advanced Settings (at the bottom of the page) > In Privacy > Content Settings > scroll down to JavaScript in the list > click the round button next to 'Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)' > Done > Close Content Settings > Close Google Chrome Options
Safari
Edit > Prefences > click on Security icon > click on Enable JavaScript next to Web Content section if it isn't already checked > close Preferences window > Reload the current page.

I Use a Different Browser

If your browser isn't listed here then you will need to search the help section of your browser for their instructions on enabling JavaScript, or alternatively download one of the browsers that we do support.

I Use an Earlier Browser Version

If you have an earlier version of one of our supported browsers, we strongly recommend you update this to the latest version...this will also be important for the security of your computer as new browser versions will have the most up to date security settings.
